Searching for Genomes
All pages in IMG have a search box that you can use to find subsets of genomes included in the system. The search is case insensitive. You can enter a specific taxon or part of a taxon (e.g., "firmicutes", "thermo", "coli", "k12"), a sequencing center, finishing group, or funding agency (e.g., "JGI", "TIGR", "DOE", "NIH"), or even a type of genome ("draft" or "finished"). From the results page, you can click an genome name to view its Genome Details page. You can also add genomes to your list of selected genomes by clicking in the corresponding checkbox and then clicking "Save Selections."
